Experience & Professional Pathway
My career trajectory in public relations and strategic marketing is built on a strong, deliberate foundation designed to pave the way toward leading in-house global corporate communications and brand PR for top-tier multinational corporations. Across roles in high-stakes crisis communications, corporate narrative strategy, and financial public relations, I have focused on learning how global enterprises build, protect, and amplify their reputations. Combining an analytical understanding of market dynamics with creative storytelling, my academic and professional experiences have been structured to develop the expertise required to navigate complex stakeholder environments, align C-suite leadership with corporate vision, and shape impactful global brand communications.
My academic preparation pairs advanced strategic communications theory with business leadership. At Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, I am completing a Master of Science in Public Relations while taking specialized coursework in Financial Communications & Investor Relations through the Martin J. Whitman School of Management. Prior to my graduate studies, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in Sport Administration from the University of Cincinnati, where I was recognized as PR Student of the Year. This educational background equips me with a dual perspective: managing consumer-facing brand narratives alongside the financial, governance, and regulatory messaging critical to global corporate decision-making.
In my agency experience, I have directly managed crisis readiness, C-suite positioning, and corporate governance initiatives across diverse industries. As a Crisis Communications & Reputation Management Intern at 5WPR, I establish global communications frameworks, benchmark reputational sentiment, and co-author Brand Crisis Response Playbooks that prepare executive teams for high-stakes corporate issues, while managing time-sensitive corporate disclosures across major wire distribution channels. As an Account Supervisor at Hill Communications, I lead account strategy for financial and corporate communications accounts, translating client business goals and ESG positioning into integrated PR campaigns, while overseeing a cross-functional team across media relations and research workflows.
Additionally, my work with Fortune 500 accounts has strengthened my expertise in integrated brand storytelling and competitive market intelligence. During my tenure as a Corporate Communications & Brand Marketing Graduate Intern at FleishmanHillard, I co-developed media strategies and executive briefing materials for major global accounts, including Unilever, Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, Adidas, and JPMorgan Chase, utilizing advanced media monitoring tools to monitor brand sentiment and mitigate reputational risks. Earlier internship roles at Pomme Communications and Wordsworth Communications deepened my technical PR skills, where I drafted AP Style media materials, curated targeted media lists, analyzed digital analytics, and leveraged financial platforms like the Bloomberg Terminal to deliver visibility recaps to leadership.
Throughout these roles, I have developed a comprehensive toolkit spanning media monitoring, analytics, crisis management, and content creation platforms. My technical proficiencies include AP Style writing and editing, C-suite speechwriting, ESG reporting, and narrative distribution across platforms like PR Newswire, GlobeNewswire, Cision, Muck Rack, Meltwater, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Critical Mention, and SEMrush. Combined with expertise in digital production platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Canva, and HubSpot, my skill set allows me to seamlessly bridge the gap between creative brand PR and strategic, enterprise-level corporate communications.
